Job summary
A construction firm in Selangor is seeking an HSE Officer to oversee safety conditions on-site. Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Inspect and rectify any unsafe conditions at the site.
- Develop, review, revise, maintain and monitor HSE documentation and programs of the assigned area.
- Implement all HSE programs planned for the project, such as weekly HSE meetings, weekly safety talks, daily toolbox talks, and other HSE programs to promote HSE awareness among project personnel.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Implement safety policies and regulations at the construction site and enforce strict compliance.
- Monitor and maintain workers\' PPE.
- Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorised departments (e.g., Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB, etc.) to maintain progressive safety standards and requirements.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of related laws and regulatory requirements such as the OSH Act 1994, Environmental Act and BOMBA SOP.
- Monitor all safety-related documents, reports, notices and issues to keep them updated.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- At least 4-5 years of working experience in a relevant field.
- Certified and valid DOSH Green Book holder.
- Knowledge of workplace risk assessment methodologies and techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced in the construction industry.
- Competent and well-versed with the latest Occupational Health & Safety Act.
