To advise and monitor on compliance to HSSE legal requirements to activities being carried out within hospital sites.

To advise FM and Operation on the HSSE related matters

To advise on HSSE improvements plan for operation from the results obtained during Workplace Inspection or Compliance assessment

To identify the HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessment and proposed risk control measures according to hierarchy of control.

To assist and support HSSE Leadership Visit for Top Management and Regional Leaders at sites

To be accountable for HSSE matters at based site and coverage site.

Safety Operation Services

To plan and conduct HSSE compliance assessment and HSSE Inspection.

To conduct HSSE committee meeting and become Secretary and coordinate EPMC Meeting.

To conduct activities based on HSSE Integrated Activity Plan and injury reduction plan.

To participate in HSSE online reporting and to guide staffs in online system.

To participate in HSSE Competency Gap Analysis.

HSSE Compliance

To monitor on compliance to HSSE legal requirements to all tasks to be carried out within Healthcare Services site.

To implement and maintain certification of ISO 45001 & IS014001

To assess HSSE compliance thru HSSE workplace inspection and walkabout.

To enforce and ensure compliance of all the rules and regulation as per stated in the company to all staff and contractors at sites.

HSSE Program

To organise and conduct HSSE Programs such as induction, briefing and awareness for Edgenta Healthcare Solutions staffs and sub-contractor workers.

To plan and conduct campaign, Safety Day for staffs and sub-contractor workers.

To initiate investigation and provide report to all incident occurred and proposed practical recommendation.

To analyse Incident Statistic and trend within operation sites.

To be accountable on reporting of incident at coverage sites

To verify the validity of incident at coverage sites

HSSE Performance

To monitor on HSSE Performance and ensure it is being updated and timely reporting.

To update HSSE performance on monthly basis and ensure it is being updated and timely reporting.

To monitor and follow up on audit findings

Stakeholder Management

To participate in the Meeting and / or Forum invited Group, HQ & Regional

To participate on any external programs conducted by MOH which relevant to HSSE such as MQSH Audit and Flying Squad Audit by Bahagian Perkhidmatan Kejuruteraan (BPK) / Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN).

To conduct training as per requested by MOH related to OSH.

To be term of reference in term of HSSE for User at own and executive site.

To participate on any external programs conducted by Authorities which relevant to HSSE such as DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.

To response and follow up on Notice received from DOSH or DOE

People Management

To attend HSSE continuous education program or competency training.

To conduct HSSE Induction, awareness training and briefing for staffs and sub-contractor workers.

To assist in ad hoc HSSE tasks/ projects as required

Execute from Continuous Improvement Department program such as Project Charter

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree specialised in Engineering and/ or Occupational Safety & Health management

At least 4 - 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Competency: Safety & Health Officer, Train the Trainer, Internal Auditor

Hands on experience in Safety & Health management, Workplace Inspection, Technical HSSE, Occupational Safety & Health Management System
