Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in safety supervision within the construction industry.
  • Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with a valid GREEN BOOK.
  • Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure OSHA compliance at work sites.
  • Conduct safety inductions and briefings for site personnel.
  • Prepare monthly Safety Audit Reports for management.

Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) compliance at all work sites.

Conduct safety inductions and safety briefings for site personnel.

Inspect worksite hazards and prepare risk assessments.

Ensure site safety compliance through site audits and issue NCR reports for compliance.

Carry out regular safety visits, audits, and inspections.

Conduct Toolbox Meetings.

Liaise with JKKP / DOSH and authorized departments (e.g., Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB) to maintain safety standards.

Prepare monthly Safety Audit Reports for management.

Advise management on changes in safety legislation and occupational safety, health, and environmental matters.

Determine causes of accidents or dangerous occurrences and recommend preventive measures.

Stay updated with safety codes of practice and circulate relevant information to employees.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager / Project Director from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science / Health & Safety or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in safety supervision within the building construction industry, with a proven safety track record.

Registered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH – must hold a valid GREEN BOOK.

Knowledge of property and construction terminology, high-rise construction, security, and environmental management.

Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to work Monday to Saturday at construction sites.
