Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is looking for a Health and Safety Executive to oversee safety regulations and internal audits. The role involves implementing HSE systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. Candidates should possess relevant degrees and certifications along with experience in safety management. Flexibility for working hours and travel is required.

Qualifications

• OSH Coordinator certificate (DOSH recognized) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in safety management.
• Strong understanding of OSHA 1994, ISO 14001, 45001.

Responsibilities

• In charge for Safety & Environment Regulation and in-house Inspection.
• Assist in preparation & implementation of HSE management system.
• Conduct Customer and Supplier Safety Audits.

Job description

· Incharge for Safety & Environment Regulation and inhouse Inspection.

· Assist in the preparation & implementation of the HSE management system

· Incharge for Legal / Goverment Inspection Audit ( DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, JTK and others related)

· Incharge for Customer and Supplier Safety Audit

· Incharge for Registration or Renew License related with Legal ( DOE, DOSH, BOMBA )

· Keep record of safety-related accident within a particular time frame

· Participate in External and Internal Training Safety & Environment

· Review existing safety policies and update them where necessary

· Incharge for Hostel Regulation and conduct the Hostel Inspection Audit.

· Recommend appropriate protective equipment that workers should wear while carrying out tasks.

· Must follow the instructions and requirement from HOD.

Requirement :

Education : Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environment Science,

Engineering or a related field.

Certification : OSH Coordinator certificate (DOSH recognized) or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 1-3 years of experience in safety management

Knowledge : Strong understanding of OSHA 1994, ISO 14001, 45001

Skills : Risk assessment, incident investigation, report writing, communication and

training.

Personal Attributes : Detail – oriented, proactive, strong problem- solving skills and commitment to

safety

Friday : Fri (8am – 5pm)

Based in Senawang but wiling to travel Senawang – Nilai (if necessary)

Requires flexibility to work outside regular hours if necessary
