A leading organization in environmental health and safety is seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement SHE policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role involves maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and providing training on safety and environmental practices. Candidates should have experience in risk assessments and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations; recommend corrective/preventive actions. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOE, DOSH, and other relevant local safety and environmental regulations. Plan and conduct internal SHE audits and inspections, and coordinate external audits. Organize and deliver SHE training and awareness programs for all levels of staff. Lead emergency response planning and drills. Monitor environmental performance and ensure proper waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
Implement and maintain QMS (e.g., ISO 9001) across operations to ensure consistency and quality of processes and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation, corrective actions, and continuous improvements are in place. Lead internal audits and manage corrective/preventive actions related to quality non-conformance. Identify, assess, and monitor organizational risks, including operational, environmental, and safety-related risks. Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk register and ensure risk mitigation strategies are embedded in daily operations. Provide risk analysis reports to management and support business continuity planning.
