Job summary

MKS Atotech Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with EHS standards. You will report to the Production supervisor/engineer and work closely to achieve department output and targets.

Responsibilities include handling raw materials, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality through proper sampling and housekeeping. Shift work, on-call standby, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification completed.
• Able to understand basic English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
• Willingness to learn production procedures quickly.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, standby, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure correct type and weight of raw materials used for manufacturing.
• Enforce safety practices per work instructions and procedures on manufacturing machines.
• Coordinate with forklift driver for bringing in raw materials and packing materials.
• Assist in charging raw materials, cleaning equipment and performing maintenance.
• Evaluate and decide on actions to prevent non-conformances.
• Report breakdowns, accidents, and non-conforming products to supervisor.
• Collect, label and submit samples to QA Lab per work instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and take care of tools and equipment.
• Train new recruits and assist with increased responsibilities.
