Job summary

S. Kian Seng in Malaysia is seeking a production operator to ensure production requirements and standards are met, including low rejection rates, delivery timelines, and wastage minimization.

The role focuses on maintaining quality and safety while improving efficiency on the shop floor. You will operate and maintain machinery per the SOP, report issues promptly, and adhere to all workplace rules, safety guidelines, and site instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently (low rejection rate, production delivery time line, no wastage and etc)
• Make effort to increase productivity, accuracy and efficiency without compromising quality and safety requirements
• Operate machinery correctly to SOP and maintain it with care.
• Report to management immediately on any machinery issue. Do not operate when in doubt.
• Maintain a clean and safe work place.
• Observe company’s rules and regulations and safety guidelines and report any wrong doings or safety concerns to management.
• Follow all company’s written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute a team.
• Plan and complete all daily tasks assigned. Responsibility to request to work additional hours when necessary to complete tasks assigned.
• Required to carry out any ad hoc assignments or tasks assigned to from time to time.
