The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Health/Safety and at least 1 year of relevant experience. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to work independently, focusing on compliance with environmental legislation and training for employees.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

• Implement, monitors and maintain safety and environmental management system (EMS) in the company.
• Responsible for preventing or reducing safety and environmental risk and formulating environmental protection and procedures.
• Monitor and ensure company’s conformance with applicable legislation requirement of Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974.
• Develop environmental training plan and conduct safety and environmental programs and trainings to all employees.
• Review and update legal requirement and chemical register.
• Coordinate internal and external audit.
• Oversee Schedule Waste Management System and ensure regulatory compliance.
• To liaise with authority such as DOE, DOSH and Local Authority.
• Reporting the performance of safety and environmental management system to top management as a basis for improvement of EMS.
• Conduct safety and environmental meeting with committees.
• Devising, implementing and monitoring detailed plans on how the objectives are to be achieved.
• Responsible to ensure the product free from Substances of Concern (SoC), REACH & RoHS substance.
• Assist and support in maintaining IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System / ISO14000:2015.
• Resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues with necessary corrective action in order to minimize reoccurrence.
  
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS: -

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
