We are seeking a talented and experienced Safety Engineer to join our team at COSMOS PERSONAL CARE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' in Tanjung Langsat Johor. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and operations within our Chemical industry and environment. This is a full-time position that offers a range of exciting responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within our operations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
3. Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
4. Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols, procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety-related concerns.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices in the Analysis & Reporting field.
7. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to safety activities and performance metrics.

Jobs Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer or in a similar role within the Chemical Industry.
3. Strong understanding of applicable safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
4. Proficient in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
8. Proficiency in using safety-related software and data analysis tools.
