Kujaya Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee safety measures in hostel management, ensuring compliance with regulations through inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Ideal candidates should possess a degree, relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This role involves coordinating with various regulatory bodies and maintaining safety records while supporting the Emergency Response Plan.
Conduct regular hostel inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials and waste properly.
Organize safety drills and awareness campaigns.
Support the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan.
Maintain records of safety committee meetings.
Coordinate with agencies, auditors, and inspectors during site visits and audits.
Serve as the point of contact for JKKP, DOSH, DOE inspections, and BOMBA FC yearly inspections.
Manage Fire Certificate and Hostel Business License applications and renewals.
Assist in developing and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
Maintain an accident/incident log and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Stay updated with new legislation and maintain knowledge of all ESH, environmental, and industry-related developments.
Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.
