To create safety awareness and carry out safety meetings, fire drill exercises, safety induction, and safety training to existing employees and new employees.
To implement and monitor aspects of Safety Management System activities in the workplace.
Whenever no SHO is at the workplace, to submit a Monthly Safety Report and Safety Statistic record for DOSH and HQ record.
To observe and/or maintain a diary detailing safety activities, hazardous works, housekeeping, safety instructions, etc. in place.
To implement all procedures and practices as stipulated in the company’s policy including safety and ISO.
To provide assistance for safety before & during internal/external audits by ensuring all related documents at the site are updated from time to time.
To avoid corruption/bribery in any management process.
Requirements
Valid Yellow Book holder registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH).
At least four (4) years working experience at site and/or assignment exposure.
Familiar with standard concepts and best practices for construction/substation/environment for both safety and administration.
Good writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
Teamwork.
Valid driving license.
Minimum supervision.
Ability to work irregular hours to accomplish urgent shipments and/or pending assignments, when requested.
