Job description

Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. Job Description
  1. Implement and monitor OSH policies and SHE programs to ensure outcomes meet the target levels.
  2. Provide instructions and advice on safety issues (WAH, noise, machine safety) to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Assist in conducting risk assessments for HIRARC and enforce mitigation actions to manage identified risks.
  4. Monitor changes in legislation and update policies to ensure compliance with current laws.
  5. Inspect workplaces and premises to identify unsafe conditions or non-compliance, and propose steps to prevent such situations.
  6. Create safety awareness and conduct safety training (e.g., for workers, ERT, contractors, visitors) to promote a safety culture.
  7. Oversee installations, maintenance, and disposal of substances to ensure safety of the work, workplace, workforce, and environment.
  8. Intervene and propose solutions to improve safety standards based on observations and monitoring.
  9. Prepare reports and analyze workplace inspection findings to identify trends or sequences leading to unsafe acts.
  10. Monitor and report environmental issues (e.g., water sampling, effluent, treatment, waste management) to facilitate root cause analysis and mitigation actions.
Qualifications

  2. At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
