We are seeking a proactive and responsible Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations in the workplace.

  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide corrective actions.

  • Develop and conduct safety training, toolbox meetings, and awareness sessions.

  • Update and maintain safety documentation and incident reports.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g. DOSH, DOE) to ensure legal compliance.

  • Assist in emergency response planning and implementation.

  • Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.

  • Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) registered with DOSH (JKKP).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing/construction/industrial setting.

  • Knowledge of Malaysian safety laws and ISO 45001 standards.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

  • Able to work independently and conduct site visits when necessary.
