Job description

The Site Safety and Health Officer (SHO) is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Company’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies, guidelines, and manuals at all construction sites. The role ensures that all site activities comply with statutory requirements and internal safety standards.

Possess a valid Safety Certificate (Green Book Holder) registered under JKKP.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.

Well-versed and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Capable of preparing and writing clear reports.

Job Description
  1. Establish and implement the Company’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Policies, Guidelines, and Manuals at construction sites.
  2. Educate, train, guide, and assess site personnel on HSSE matters.
  3. Ensure preventive measures against accidents and safety hazards.
  4. Inspect, investigate, monitor, and review HSSE compliance, and report findings regularly.
  5. Set up and conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and maintain records of safety activities.
  6. Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
  7. Establish accident investigation teams and maintain safety statistics.
  8. Prepare and manage budgets for HSSE activities.
  9. Coordinate with project team members and authorities to ensure statutory compliance.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
