Job summary

A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to support project teams with occupational safety and health issues. The ideal candidate will conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with health policies, and perform training for site staff. A valid DOSH license and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required for this role, along with strong administrative and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; construction experience is an advantage.
  • Willing to work outstation/relocate.

Job description

Provide support to the project team in all aspects of occupational safety, health, and environmental issues.

Ensure all site activities are planned based on established safety and health policies/procedures and comply with statutory requirements.

Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and take preventive actions.

Investigate non-compliance incidents and respond promptly to operational issues.

Conduct safety talks and training for site staff and workers on all HSE topics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Qualification: Possess a valid license registered with DOSH (GREEN BOOK).

2. Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience; construction experience is an advantage.

3. Willing to work outstation/relocate.
