Safety and Health Assistant

Safety and Health Assistant is a vital part of BTSH Security and Safety Department. They work closely with the SHO and SSD team to ensure that the workplace is hazard-free and compliant with safety regulations.

This job involves a variety of tasks including monitoring and maintaining safety equipment, assisting in workplace inspections, incident investigations, and safety documentation. A successful Safety and Health Assistant must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in workplace inspection on safety of machinery, workplace, equipment, substance, appliance or process.
2. Assist in occurrence and incident investigation.
3. Assist in collecting, analyzing and maintaining statistics on any accidents that have occurred at the workplace.
4. Assist in continuous improvement on policies and SHEMS.
5. Ensure employees and safety functional groups meet the basic and necessary training as required.
6. Assist in coordinating SHE programs and activities.
7. Assist in follow-up with external vendors on Safety and Health assignments.
8. Manage checking monthly first aid box inventory, fire fighting equipment, and ERT equipment.

1. Prefer Diploma/Degree holder in OSH. (Fresh graduates are welcome) or
2. Have OSH Certification (min. OSH Coordinator) or
3. 1 year+ working experience in OSH.
4. Computer literacy. Familiar with basic Microsoft.
