Job Overview

The role of a Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) Manager is pivotal in driving operational excellence within a global framework, particularly in high-growth businesses characterized by dynamic migrations and new product introductions (NPI). This position emphasizes the importance of effective people management to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across diverse teams. This role will report to the Global S&OE Leader for DDN Business Unit.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience for a portfolio worth $800M+ globally, with key manufacturing plants in China and Mexico. Align short-term execution with broader business objectives, ensuring swift response to market changes while maintaining service levels and managing costs. Lead weekly S&OE cadences with cross-functional teams for exception management and decision-making. Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Managing Dynamic Environments: Navigate complexities of rapid business growth and migration challenges. Adapt processes for new product launches while aligning operational capabilities with evolving demand. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Financial Performance: Meet cash cost service targets by analyzing financial metrics to balance operational costs with service delivery, ensuring profitability while supporting high-quality customer experiences.
  • People Management: Mentor and coach team members (estimate direct reports ~8+) to enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills. Conduct regular performance reviews to align individual goals with departmental objectives.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field. An MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a multinational and high growth industry.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in people management, leading diverse teams in a global environment.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) or related roles. Experience in managing operational processes related to demand planning, supply chain management, and inventory optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
  • Highly competent with supply chain management software (SAP is required, IBP is a plus) and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across different locations.
  • Understanding business drivers and the ability to balance short- and long-term objectives.
