The RTR Accountant will play a vital role in managing end-to-end record-to-report processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing accounting and finance team.

Description

Handle end-to-end Record-to-Report activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.

Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, including trial balance preparation and variance analysis.

Manage fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and support internal/external audits.

Provide data for tax and statutory reporting requirements.

Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Profile

A successful RTR Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
