Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a RTR Accountant for a permanent position in the retail sector. You will prepare and manage accurate financial reports, ensure timely month-end and year-end closings, and support statutory accounts and audits.

You will perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts, contribute to financial controls, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide backup for other accounting functions. Experience in retail is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience within the retail industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
