Job summary

SPX Express in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Security Guard to support daily security operations across company facilities, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, assets, and premises.

You will work rotating shifts (Day/Night/Mid) and may be asked to cover weekends/public holidays; prior security experience is advantageous though fresh candidates may be considered. Strong observation, communication, and adherence to SOPs are essential.

Qualifications

• SPM / STPM or equivalent.
• Females are also encouraged to apply
• Prior experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or similar role is an advantage; fresh candidates may also be considered.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts and perform regular patrols.
• Able to follow security procedures and communicate effectively.
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to the facility and conduct routine security patrols.
• Perform visitor, vehicle, and access checks in accordance with security SOPs.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to security or safety incidents when required.
• Maintain daily security logs and report any incidents or suspicious activities.
• Assist with emergency response and other security-related duties as assigned.
