Job summary

Acacia Motor Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible bus driver to follow routes and schedules, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and report issues. The role includes maintaining records, conducting safety checks, road testing, and water testing to ensure bus integrity and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds PSV and GDL licenses, understands local routes and traffic laws, and demonstrates strong safety, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving license (PSV & GDL License in Malaysia).
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffics laws.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Adherence: Following assigned routes and time schedules.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, cleaning and reporting mechanical issues.
• Documentation: prepare detailed inspection reports, checklist, abd maintenance records to document work accomplished.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and safety system checks on buses, including braking systems, steering, engines, and lighting.
• Road Testing: Drive completed busses to evaluate performance, handling, noise levels, and overall roadworthiness.
• Water Testing: Program high-pressure water test to ensure bus bodies are watertight and leak‑free.
