Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Bus Driver in Kuching to safely transport passengers and goods along designated routes. The role requires a PSV license and a clean driving record, with 1–2 years of bus or commercial vehicle experience.

You will perform vehicle checks, assist with boarding and luggage, and share route information while maintaining a professional and punctual attitude. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid PSV Bus License (Class E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience driving buses or commercial vehicles.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia; English is an advantage.
• Familiar with local roads and GPS navigation.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays; flexible hours.
• Professional, punctual and responsible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate buses on designated routes and transport passengers or goods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and fluids.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.
• Assist passengers with boarding and luggage handling.
• Provide route information, stops, and local points of interest.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety procedures; report defects or incidents immediately.
