About the role

As a Road Transport Safety Specialist at LEE THONG HUNG TRADING & TRANSPORT SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of the company's road transport operations in Kulai, Johor. This full-time position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety protocols to protect our drivers, vehicles, and the broader community.

What you'll be doing

Developing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive safety policies and procedures for the company's road transport activities

Conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Providing training and support to drivers on safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and emergency response procedures

Collaborating with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with all relevant road transport safety legislation and industry standards

Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Continuously monitoring industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improving the company's safety performance

What we're looking for

Proven track record of at least 5 years in a road transport safety or fleet management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Experience with Singapore Safety requirement and P&FM License

Thorough understanding of relevant road transport safety regulations and industry best practices

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with drivers, managers, and regulatory authorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safety-related issues

Proficient in the use of relevant safety management software and data analysis tools

Committed to promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement
