Job summary

Bybit is seeking a data-focused risk operations professional in Kuala Lumpur. You will review campaigns, perform data quality checks, and analyze internal and external data to inform operational decisions and model iterations.

The role requires 2+ years in data analysis or data operations with risk exposure, strong SQL skills, and exposure to R or Python. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus and the company supports global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support risk operations by conducting campaign reviews, activity data quality checks, case reviews, and user behaviour analysis based on operational needs
• Perform in-depth analysis combining internal and external data to provide actionable insights supporting operational decisions, strategy development, and model iteration
• Continuously monitor data, define risk indicators, optimise workflows, and establish a standardised risk operations framework to improve operational efficiency
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and risk control strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data operations, with exposure to at least one of the following: business risk control, marketing anti-fraud, account security, or fund security
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to conduct independent data analysis; experience with R or Python is a plus
• Strong business acumen and risk intuition, with solid logical thinking and data sensitivity — candidates should be able to identify risks from anomalous data and articulate the underlying causes
• Fluency in spoken Mandarine is a plus
