Primary Objective:

YUZU is seeking Malaysia-based Risk and Compliance Analysts from the financial services sector who are available for upcoming client assignments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct conflict clearance reviews for new clients, matters, and personnel, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  2. Collaborate with attorneys, business development teams, and stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and conflicts.
  3. Use internal databases, external search engines, and research tools to perform conflict checks promptly.
  4. Analyze conflict reports, assess risks, and prepare detailed reports for relevant committees or stakeholders.
  5. Maintain accurate conflict database records, documenting all details, review outcomes, and clearance procedures.
  6. Monitor legal and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  2. 3-6 years of experience in risk management, conflict analysis, compliance, or related fields within professional services or financial industries.
  3. Strong knowledge of legal, regulatory, and ethical guidelines related to new business intake, conflict management, and data privacy.
  4. Familiarity with conflict-checking databases and software.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information accurately.
