Job summary

Aetherion Dataworks Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia invites a Risk Analyst to assess company performance by analyzing user profiles and behaviours to protect interests from suspicious activities while aligning with department goals.

You will perform daily tasks such as KYC verification, data analysis, and preparing summary reports. Monitor abnormal trends, evaluate bonus eligibility, and support risk controls in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Required Language(s): English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel for report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and provide solutions/advice via Microsoft Teams/Freshdesk/Email from other departments e.g. Payment, CS, Marketing.
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to ensure user identity is genuine.
• Prepare summary reports and slides as assigned by superior.
• Monitor abnormal users based on their profile and transaction data; identify risk trends.
• Review bonus eligibility and support risk controls under tight time frames.

In your role as a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible in the risk assessment of company performance by analysing user profile & behaviour to ensure company interest are well protected from any suspicious & abnormal activities at the same time align with the strategy and planning of department and organization.

Key responsibilities

1. Performs Daily Task:

Conduct analysis and provide solution & advice upon request through Microsoft Teams/Freshdesk/Email from other departments e.g. Payment, CS, Marketing.

Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to ensure user identity is genuine.

Tasks include but not limited to summary report & slide preparation assigned by superior.

2. Monitor & Identify Abnormal Trend from Data:

To identify abnormal users based on their profile.

To evaluate user behaviour by analysing transactional data.

To review eligibility of bonus applicant.

To monitor the spike of data and take immediate action for risk control.

Ability to work well under pressure and tight time frames.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Ability to multitask and prioritize.

Accuracy and strong attention to details.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
