Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions seeks a DESIGN ENGINEER to develop RFID products from concept to industrialization. You will combine product/design engineering with on-chip programming, requiring strong electronics and RFID knowledge.

The role involves RF simulations, programming profiles, and collaboration across global teams. A bachelor’s degree in related fields and RFID experience are highly valued, with opportunities for career development and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, RF, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• RFID experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of RFID antennas, RF principles and IC technologies.
• Hands-on RFID IC programming, configuration and verification.
• Familiarity with JTAG, SWD, UART, SPI and I2C programming interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RFID antennas, tags, cards and transponder products.
• Perform RF/electrical simulations, measurements, troubleshooting and product optimization.
• Develop test fixtures and support product validation and qualification.
• Configure, program and verify RFID IC memory and device parameters.
• Develop programming sequences and tools for chip configuration and personalization.
• Support manufacturing during industrialization and volume production.
