About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Retreat Maintenance professional to join our team at THE HOOTON RETREAT SDN. BHD. in Pertang, Negeri Sembilan. As a Retreat Maintenance professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of our beautiful retreat facility. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our retreat.

What you'll be doing

Performing regular maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the retreat's facilities, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained and in excellent condition

Identifying and addressing any issues or potential problems, taking prompt action to resolve them

Collaborating with the retreat management team to implement preventative maintenance measures and enhance overall operational efficiency

Assisting with the set-up and tear-down of retreat activities and events as required

Maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Providing exceptional customer service to guests and ensuring a comfortable, welcoming experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role, preferably within the hospitality or retreat industry

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Proficiency in the use of various hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in maintenance and repair tasks

Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and the retreat management team effectively

A keen eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to maintaining the retreat's facilities

A valid driving license and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
