The Retail Sales Executive plays a crucial role in engaging with prospective customers through design concept selling. We seek a passionate individual who is quick to learn and has a strong interest in communication and influencing. Job Description

Design Concept Selling

• Connect design concepts to customer needs effectively.
• Guide customers through the design process, including benchmarking, immersion, concepting, and ideation.
• Present visually using showroom displays or 3D drawings to enhance impact.
• Showcase past projects and results to build credibility and gain customer buy-in.

Sales Target Management

• Utilize Sales Funnel methodology to monitor the customer journey and sales processes, aiming to achieve sales results.
• Identify new business opportunities with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and contractors.
• Follow up diligently on prospects and leads to create sales opportunities and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction for ongoing improvement.
• Achieve sales and net income targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop relationships and explore new business opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Prepare and communicate sales reports as per organizational standards.
• Propose operational strategies to enhance store performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular sales analyses and reviews to evaluate promotional and strategic effectiveness and identify new opportunities.

Deliver Store Service & Excellence

• Provide personalized in-store experiences to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Enhance merchandising presentation and visual displays.
• Deliver operational and service excellence across multiple customer touchpoints.
• Identify areas for improvement to boost productivity.
• Handle sales order processing efficiently.
• Perform data-driven functional analyses using Customer Relationship Management systems and other tools.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in relevant fields such as Architecture, IT, Design, or Mass Communication.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship experience and co-curricular activities will be considered.
• Relevant experience in sales and marketing with a proven track record.
• Experience in process and design selling.
• Proficiency in using CRM digital applications for analysis.
• Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Interest in interior design and concepts.
• Sales-driven, independent, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills across all customer levels.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Negotiation skills are essential.
• This role is based at our retail showroom in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Job Entitlements:

• Salary range: RM 3,500 – RM 5,250 per month.
• Attractive monthly sales incentives and phone allowances.
• Medical insurance covering hospitalization, outpatient, dental, and optical services.
• 5 working days per week, with Sunday off; work hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
