Job summary

AEON Co. (M) Bhd. (Retail) is seeking a Store Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, including the café. You will manage inventory, restocking and the daily schedule to keep operations on track.

You will lead a team, run daily huddles, oversee breaks and shifts, and handle POS transactions while promoting promotions and ensuring safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Have at least SRP / PMR / SPM / Certificate/Diploma/Degree
• Have an attractive personality and can communicate well
• Age 18 years and above
• Have a strong interest in retail
• Able to work in shifts, weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store (including café) is clean, ready and safe for customers; oversee inventory management, restocking shelves; review and update the store’s daily schedule and operations plan.
• Monitor and maintain a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere; address customer inquiries, requests and concerns.
• Conduct daily team meetings to align on goals and tasks; manage staffs breaks and shifts, ensuring adequate coverage; provide training and guidance to team members.
• Handle cash register, payment processing and financial transactions; keep record of daily sales, expenses and cash flow; manage cash float and safe.
• Inventory tracking; issue purchase orders as needed; receive and organize new or return stock; oversee pricing and sales promotions; removing updated items from shelves.
• Execute the plan of promotions, discounts and special events; engage with customers to drive sales and loyalty, monitor customer feedback and make improvements based on input; maintain an attractive and dynamic product display.
• Conduct safety checks and address any potential hazards (including café); maintain a secure and well-organized workspace; verify that staff follow safety and hygiene protocols.
