You will be the ultimate champion for our consumer product lines in Malaysia. Your purpose is to be the voice of the Malaysian customer and the master of our product portfolio, ensuring we have the right products, in the right channels, at the right price. You will bridge the gap between our globally developed products and the local market, orchestrating brilliant go-to-market strategies that drive desire, demand, and profitable growth.

What You'll Be Doing (Your Key Responsibilities)

  • Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management:
    • Define and execute comprehensive product strategies, encompassing market analysis, product roadmaps, and lifecycle management.
    • Managed the product portfolio, optimizing performance through data-driven analysis and strategic adjustments to sales and marketing programs.
    • Conduct in-depth product performance reviews, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.


  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
    • Led market research and competitive analysis initiatives to identify emerging trends, customer insights, and competitive threats.
    • Translated market intelligence into actionable product strategies, informing product development and go-to-market plans.
    • Provided regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior management on market dynamics and competitive positioning.


  • New Product Development & Launch:
    • Develop and execute successful new product launch plans, including market segmentation, value proposition development, and go-to-market strategies.
    • Identify and develop new market channels and customer segments to drive product adoption and market share growth.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product launch success and inform future product development.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
    • Act as the central hub of product knowledge, working seamlessly with our Sales, Marketing, Training, Operations, and After-Sales Service and other cross-functional teams to ensure perfect alignment and execution.
    • Articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is energized and moving in the same direction.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to craft clear, compelling product messaging and equip our sales force with the tools they need to win.
Requirements

  • A Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • A solid 2-3 years of experience in product management or brand management, preferably within the consumer goods, electronics, or retail industry.
  • Proven track record as a high performer and good career progression.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical skills, attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • An exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) who can confidently present ideas to various audiences.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. The ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a significant advantage in our diverse market.
