YOUR TASKS
- Identify different customer needs and provide solutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain quality customer service through optimized processes, feedback to the country retail team, and conducting retail audit reviews within the specified area.
- Support country sales & marketing campaigns at retail points-of-sale.
- Ensure effective implementation of Local Store Marketing Programs to achieve maximum target segment penetration and revenue performance.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and recommend tactics to counter emerging threats by competitors at both Area and Local levels.
- Implement standardized guidelines & procedures to track and monitor adherence and performance.
- Train frontline staff in Best-in-Class Retail.
- Provide direction and coaching to retail staff, supporting the achievement of revenue targets.
- Sourcing cost-efficient local contractors and suppliers for the proper maintenance of store operations and quality retail experience.
- Manage outsourced suppliers and staff to ensure effective running and staffing of retail outlets.
- Liaise with the country to coordinate and support outlet development and management.
- Prepare store scorecards and standardized outlet management processes.
- Conduct cash reconciliation reports and cash/credit card transactions of retail outlets in the designated area.
- Maintain the Petty Cash Fund of the designated area and prepare reports for budgeting and tracking purposes.
- Coordinate and consolidate data transfer between Express Centers and the country office.
- Monitor area performance by implementing a store scorecard sheet.
- Review and analyze effective uses of shipment automation and customer take-up at Point-of-Sale (POS).
- Implement store hours that reflect customer needs and ensure consistent implementation in the given area.
- Handle the rostering of store officers and ensure low absenteeism and tardiness among frontline staff.
- Ensure outlets in the given area have proper supplies and marketing collaterals.
- Monitor staff performance regularly and conduct training or mentoring as deemed fit.
YOUR PROFILE
- Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness, and empathy.
- Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in retail sales and area marketing.
- Experience in sales/sales processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the retail trade from a service and sales perspective.
