Home Mart Fresh & Frozen Sdn. Bhd. is a cold storage and grocery store, with operations in Penang (Alma, Bukit Mertajam, Batu Maung), Kedah (Lunas, Padang Serai, Sungai Petani, Sungai Kob) & Perak (Selama). It is a subsidiary of CAB Cakaran Corporation Berhad, a public listed company on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

CAB has a long and successful history, starting with its first poultry farming activities in Penang, Malaysia, in the 1970s. The company has grown to become one of the largest food producers and providers of value-added products in Malaysia, offering poultry, marine, and frozen food products globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all store operations, including overseeing daily sales and staff management.
  • Facilitate and supervise daily operations to ensure effective teamwork, maximize sales, and achieve company goals in line with policies and procedures.
  • Implement purchasing plans and maintain supplier contacts to meet sales targets efficiently.
  • Coordinate marketing activities such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, visual merchandising, and special events.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain stock, displays, signage, and proper inventory levels.
  • Develop and control the department budget through research and trade surveys.
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and performance evaluations of employees.
  • Schedule employee shifts and provide training for new staff.
  • Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Possess at least SPM qualification; Diploma in Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in retail or supermarket management.
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills, business acumen, resourcefulness, trustworthiness, and integrity.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely across retail outlets in Penang, Kedah, and Perak.
  • Willing to work at Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
