Job summary

BorderlessHire is seeking an organised, detail-oriented Event Executive to manage retail kiosk operations and physical events across locations in Malaysia. You will ensure smooth execution and uphold operational standards while supporting sales growth.

Responsibilities include coordinating with mall management, vendors and partners, supervising staff, overseeing inventory and logistics, and resolving on-site issues during events. The role requires travel and weekend work when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail operations or event management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and solid problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Willing to travel and work on weekends when required for events.
• Experience in cosmetics, beauty, FMCG or retail is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for retail kiosks and event setups.
• Supervise, coordinate and support retail staff to ensure smooth operations and strong sales performance.
• Oversee inventory, logistics and visual merchandising.
• Coordinate with mall management, vendors and event partners for smooth execution.
• Ensure operational SOPs and brand standards are followed consistently.
• Monitor sales reports and identify opportunities for operational and sales improvement.
• Coordinate event schedules, manpower and on-site requirements.
• Support the team during events and resolve operational issues when required.
