Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Manage café operations strategy planning to achieve the Company objectives, and sales target
  • Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Make employment decisions consistent with the Company’s guidelines for approval or review
  • Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an accurate, organized and timely manner,
  • To ensure all supplies, equipment, tools and work station are kept in clean excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
  • Ensure all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
  • Comply with federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests
  • Assist and lead the daily, weekly and monthly reporting activities
  • Attend scheduled meetings at HQ and conduct daily, weekly and monthly briefings at outlet level
  • Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility
  • Provide support on solving café operations problem and issues
  • Perform any other duties that are assigned to you from time to time and to follow all the rules and regulations set by the Company

Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least SPM or its equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience
  • Previous experience in F&B industry will be an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skill
  • Good problem solving and strong analytical skills
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to work long hours including weekend and public holiday
  • Display creativity and initiative in carrying out duties
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
