Job summary

SRI SI MANIS (M) SDN BHD in Kuala Kangsar, Perak is seeking an active Retail Assistant to join our store team. You will inspect sales areas, replenish stock, rearrange product placement and ensure displays are neat and attractive.

You will assist customers, answer product questions, keep shelves clean, monitor prices and labels, and inform supervisors of stock issues. The role requires standing, walking, lifting and working with coworkers during busy periods.

We are seeking an active, responsible Retail Assistant who is attentive to store conditions to join our team. This role requires candidates who can actively inspect sales areas, identify empty shelf spaces, replenish stock, rearrange product placement, and ensure product displays are always neat and attractive.

Key responsibilities

• Stock replenishment and shelf arrangement: arrange and replenish stock items on shelves daily
• Conduct regular inspections in sales areas without waiting for supervisor instructions
• Identify empty shelf spaces and immediately check stock for replenishment purposes
• If stock of a product is depleted or insufficient, rearrange nearby products appropriately so empty spaces are not left unattended for long
• Ensure products are arranged neatly, in the correct direction and easily visible to customers
• Rearrange items that are not in the correct location
• Ensure prices and product labels are displayed in the correct place
• Inform supervisor if there are stock issues, shortages, or abnormal display conditions
• Help customers find products and answer basic product-related questions
• Ensure the store, shelves and work areas are always clean and organised
• Assist with daily store operations as needed
• Cooperate with supervisor and coworkers, especially during busy times
