A prominent restaurant chain is seeking a restaurant manager or assistant manager to oversee restaurant operations in Kuala Selangor. Job description

Job Responsibility

  • As a restaurant manager/ assistant restaurant manager, your role is highly visible by Top Management. You are expected to oversee all restaurant operations and ensure that it runs smoothly and customers remain delighted every time.
    • Some of the key responsibilities are:
    • Manage staff assignments and provide training to ensure staff meet defined standards of customer service and menu proficiency.
    • Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week/month, including staff rosters, overtime, inventory levels, sales, etc.
    • Drive restaurant sales to achieve target.
    • Co-ordinating with the Headquarters on promotional events and other marketing related events.
    • Ensuring standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety are adhered to throughout the restaurant.
    • Responding and satisfactory resolution of customer complaints.
    • Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
  • The successful candidate would have
    • Worked in a supervisory role for at least 3-5 years with an established franchise restaurant group.
    • Excellent communication skills including proficiency in reading / writing in English.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage staff, both local and foreign.
    • Strong common-sense and ability to prioritise tasks.
    • Good ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Job Requirements

  • Experience in overseeing outlet(s), staff training, cost, and labour planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Strong levels of initiative and leadership skills in managing a team.
  • Passion for excellent cKey ustomer service.
