A leading restaurant is seeking a dedicated restaurant manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, be proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, and have a background in F&B operations. Responsibilities include staff management, budgeting, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Language Required: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in F&B operations or restaurant management (Experience in a similar role is highly preferred!).
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
Efficiency: Ability to handle paperwork, manage schedules, process orders, and maintain operational reports efficiently.
Responsibility
Operational: Oversee daily operations, from opening to closing, ensuring smooth service and timely execution. Coordination between front-of-house and kitchen is key.
Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate staff, handle scheduling, training, and resolve conflicts. Foster a positive and productive team culture.
Guest Experience: Ensure each guest has a memorable experience, handling concerns and complaints with professionalism, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, inventory, and place orders, ensuring financial targets and stock levels are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
Health & Safety Standards: Ensure the restaurant consistently meets all safety, hygiene, and food quality regulations.
