Verve Restaurant Group is excited to announce the opening of our newest outlet in Johor Bahru – a non-halal restaurant and live music bar located in the vibrant heart of Iskandar Puteri. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to be part of our dynamic opening team!

As a Restaurant Manager, your job responsibilities are:

1. Achieving Sales Targets
2. Ensure that revenue targets are planned and achieved at all times
3. Ensure sales are maximised at all times with up-selling, cross selling and great customer service
4. Cost management and control to be within the company guidelines as a percentage of sales revenue
5. Human Resource
6. Support in local recruitment and selection for efficient restaurant human resources, including staff recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions as required.
7. Provide timely management updates - monthly performance, sales & trend analysis and recommendations
8. Resource management & maximisation - reduce restaurant & bar staff costs and maintain within targets
9. Setup audit controls - inventory and restaurant security
10. Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, customers, and company assets
11. Ensure timely sales performance reports to company directors within one hour of cashing up
12. Report any key incidents affecting staff, customer well-being, or ongoing operations immediately to a Director
13. Service Operations
14. Improve average yield per customer
15. Ensure consistent high quality of service
16. Conduct staff briefings - daily and monthly with the management team
17. Property & Equipment Management
18. Oversee general maintenance to ensure properties are properly managed and in good condition
19. Ensure equipment is adequate, well-maintained, and fit for purpose
20. Customer Service
21. Maintain high quality customer service across all areas
22. Respond to complaints and take appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into repeat visitors
23. Investigate and resolve complaints related to food quality and service
