Key Responsibilities :

  • The Restaurant Manager at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat will play a pivotal role in the Food & Beverages Department, ensuring excellence in both service and administration. They will uphold the highest standards of service, maintaining a luxurious environment that seamlessly blends wellness with high-end hospitality for our valued guests.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurants, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient management of staff and resources. Execute comprehensive luxury dining services and professional guest relations across all outlets, while adhering to established legal and operational guidelines.
  • Oversee daily operational activities in the restaurants, including managing staff, inventory, food quality and safety, and the overall dining experience. Ensure that all operational procedures are followed to provide efficient service.
  • Execute comprehensive administration for the department such as food and beverage pairing, menu creation, manpower planning, business strategies, research and development, learning and development, sales and marketing strategies, hygiene and maintenance inspections, decoration and setting, reservations, emergency response, and more.
  • Responsible for professional and ethical communication across all platforms for the department outlets.
  • Maintain professional and ethical relationships with stakeholders, employers, employees, and third parties.
  • Manage the department’s financial aspects, including asset inventories, store and receiving processes, point-of-sale transactions, revenue reports, procurement, market trend analysis, and more.
  • Adapt to modern systems and workflows in line with industrial revolutions.
  • Foster professional and harmonious working relationships with stakeholders, employers, employees, and third parties.
  • Strictly adhere to Occupational Safety and Health regulations set by authorities and company policies while performing duties.
  • Comply with company rules, regulations, and policies regarding grooming standards, conduct, and misconduct.
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management, ensuring they are executed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Position Requirements :

  • Work 5 days a week with shift schedules.
  • Certificates, Diplomas, or Degrees in Hospitality, Food & Beverages, WSET, CoMS, or related fields.
  • Additional certifications such as Crisis Management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager.
  • Experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools, publishing software, and related technologies.
  • Maintain required skills, knowledge, and certifications according to applicable standards and laws, updating them as necessary.
