Position Overview:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall performance of the restaurant. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory and suppliers, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and profitability. The Manager acts as a bridge between the outlet and the parent company, ensuring that brand values and operational goals are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Oversee daily restaurant operations including kitchen and front-of-house.
Ensure smooth service, timely food delivery, and cleanliness at all times.
Manage bookings, seating arrangements, and customer flow effectively.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff.
Monitor staff performance and maintain high service standards.
Motivate and build a positive team environment.
Customer Service
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor and engage with guests.
Create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every customer.
Inventory & Cost Control
Manage stock levels of ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
Work with suppliers and place orders efficiently.
Monitor food wastage and control costs to maximize profit.
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns or promotions.
Monitor daily sales and provide performance reports to head office.
Upsell menu items and suggest improvements based on customer preferences.
Compliance & Hygiene
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Conduct regular checks and maintain all documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of F&B operations, POS systems, and stock management.
Customer-first attitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
