Key Responsibilities :

1. The Restaurant Hostess at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat will play a pivotal role within the Food & Beverage Department, upholding the highest standards of service and contributing to the creation of an exceptional high-end luxury hospitality and dining experience for our guests.
2. Oversee daily reservations and guest relations within the restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient dining management. Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects luxury dining services, while maintaining professional guest relations across all outlets and ensuring adherence to established legal and operational standards.
3. Oversee daily reservations, restaurant setup, and the creation of a welcoming atmosphere with a professional demeanor, ensuring a high-end guest experience. Monitor guest flow and efficiently manage waiting service to provide a seamless dining experience. Manage guest relations, service etiquette, food quality, and safety, while ensuring strict adherence to operational procedures for efficient service delivery.
4. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, including handling reservations and inquiries, conducting hygiene and maintenance inspections, overseeing decoration and setup, managing emergency responses, and more.
5. Responsible for executing professional and ethical communication on every platform for the department outlets.
6. Possess abilities in maintaining professional and ethical relationships between stakeholders, employers, employees, and third parties.
7. Execute comprehensive financial aspects of the department such as asset inventories, store and receiving processes, point-of-sales transactions, revenue reports, procurements, and more.
8. Adapt to modernization of systems and workflows in accordance with industrial revolutions.
9. Maintain professional and harmonious working relationships with stakeholders, employers, employees, and third parties.
10. Strictly adhere to Occupational, Safety, and Health regulations as mandated by authorities and company policies while performing duties.
11. Comply with rules, regulations, and policies set by the company, including grooming standards, conduct guidelines, and misconduct policies.
12. Perform any duties or responsibilities assigned by management efficiently, to the highest standards, and without failure.

Position Requirements :

1. Work 5 days a week with shift schedules.
2. Certificate, Diploma, Degree (or above) in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related fields.
3. Additional certifications such as Customer Service are a plus.
4. Fresh graduates or 1-year experience in a Restaurant Hostess role.
5. Experience in luxury hotels or resorts preferred.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Technologically savvy.
8. Basic knowledge of AI tools, publishing software, and related technologies.
9. Maintain and update skills, knowledge, and certifications according to applicable standards and regulations.
