Job description

Company Background:
This hotel, featuring six branches in Johor, is a growing establishment dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality experiences. The company is currently expanding with the construction of a new building, further enhancing our capacity to serve guests with top-notch amenities and services. To ensure smooth and efficient operations, they are seeking a Residential Manager to oversee the hotel's management in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Position Overview:
Fully responsible for overall management to ensure quality standards throughout all the hotels, provide an excellent experience for the guests and maximizing guest satisfaction. Oversee all part from day-to-day operational running to strategic development of all the outlets, provides leadership and support to all section heads to implements and enforces the hotel standard in all area supervised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside all Section Heads to ensure each individual department delivers a consistently high standard of guest service.
  • Achieve business objectives, monitoring occupancy rates and room rates to ensure maximizes the profitability of all outlets.
  • Maintain effective cost controls in all areas, assist in the preparation of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting along with section heads.
  • Implement strategic initiative and direct the hotel main operations including quality, standards, cleanliness and guests satisfaction.
  • Monitor the coordination between all departments for smooth and efficient operations.
  • Proving timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally, be available on call 24/7 to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies.
  • Carry out Inspection of all departments with Section Heads for presentation, cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming and hospitality culture.
  • Conduct regularly meeting will Section Heads and Hotel Manager to discuss routine operational matter, departmental performance, sales targets and reviewing guest feedback, etc.
  • Key Performance Indicator: Employees Turnover and Labour Cost, Gross Operating Profit, Cost per Occupied, Guest Satisfaction Score.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management. Graduates Bachelor Degree from other related field.
  • Experience: Minimum three years work experience as Deputy Manager, Assistance Operation Manager or Hotel Manager in a property required. Property Management Software, Revenue Management experience desired.
  • Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of English language is mandatory as well as the ability to speak, read and write clearly. Must be able to listen to, read and/or write instructions, memos, short correspondence, and message. Bilingual language preferred.

Salary Range:
RM6000-RM10000 + accommodation will be provided
