The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Department of Medicine, is seeking highly motivated candidates to join us as Resident Physicians in a challenging and fulfilling role.

We are a tertiary referral centre for complex clinical cases, providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic treatments for digestive and liver diseases. Our key services include viral hepatitis, liver cancer, functional bowel diseases, and therapeutic endoscopy. As a dedicated facility for gastrointestinal and liver disease management, we are equipped with advanced technology to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective management plans for both common and complex conditions.

As a Resident Physician, your responsibilities will include managing patients in wards and clinics, performing administrative duties, participating in specialist outpatient clinics, providing inpatient coverage (rostered), and ensuring continuity of care for patients.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. Possession of a basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
  2. Candidates with a postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council and relevant clinical experience may be considered.
  3. Active clinical practice experience.
  4. At least 3 years of post-housemanship clinical experience.
  5. Ability to work independently with demonstrated competence in patient management.
  6. Confidence, initiative, and teamwork skills.
