Job Description: Resident Medical Officer
Location: Klinik Mediverse @ Jinjang / SS2 / SS15 (either one)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to provide high-quality patient care, support medical diagnoses, and oversee clinical operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring compliance with medical protocols, and contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient consultations professionally and courteously regarding treatments and procedures.
Diagnose, prescribe treatments, and manage patient care plans effectively.
Educate and counsel patients on healthcare, wellness, and disease prevention.
Accurately document patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
Supervise clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient management.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), medical regulations, and clinical protocols.
Provide guidance and training to clinic staff, including nurses and clinic assistants.
Participate in Continuous Medical Education (CME) and relevant medical courses to stay updated with the latest medical advancements.
Attend mandatory courses and training sessions as required.
Job Requirements:
Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and holds a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Strong sense of professionalism, empathy, and patience in patient interactions.
Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule & support night shifts if required.
Residency near the clinic is an added advantage.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD) or equivalent.
Completed compulsory service in Ministry of Health.
Experience working in a private clinic (LOCUM) is an added advantage.
