Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and relevant Malaysian codes and standards
• Provide technical support and engineering solutions to site issues, coordinating with the design team, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documents to ensure accuracy
• Oversee the installation of electrical systems including HT/LV power distribution, substations, transformers, generators, lighting, earthing and lightning protection, UPS, ELV systems
• Coordinate and witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project and regulatory requirements
• Monitor workmanship and material quality, ensuring installations meet project specifications, QA/QC, and safety standards
• Verify materials and equipment delivered to site comply with approved specifications and project requirements before installation
• Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, progress updates, non-conformance reports, and as-built documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in site supervision for electrical services, preferably on industrial, manufacturing, institutional, pharmaceutical, data centre, or mission‑critical developments
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, including HT/LV power distribution, substations, transformers, generators, lighting, earthing and lightning protection, UPS, ELV systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure
• Familiar with local authority requirements, Malaysian codes and standards, testing & commissioning, QA/QC processes, and construction best practices
• Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders effectively
