The Opportunity

Supervise construction on multiple sites and ensure quality assurance that completed work complies with plans and specifications.

Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project.

Act as the point of contact and coordinate directly with the general contractor and key stakeholders.

Monitor progress against the construction schedule and review the Contractor’s progress reports. Assess progress and inform the Project Manager and client of delays.

Direct, assist, and monitor the performance of Construction Inspection and Office Engineering staff.

Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design.

Discuss deviations from specified construction materials and procedures with relevant design engineers/consultants.

Review and approve contract submittals and payment applications to contractors regularly.

Participate in contract close-out activities.

Conduct regular progress meetings with the contractor and relevant personnel, reporting issues as necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Is this role right for you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of inspection experience in buildings, civil, and site development projects, including both field inspection and office engineering.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
• Registered with CIDB?
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, construction plans, and specifications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Effective project team management skills, organized with problem-solving, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Open to being based at Nilai, Cyberjaya, or Bukit Jalil sites.
