Job summary

Klinik Dr Amirah Ampang Waterfront is recruiting a second permanent Resident Doctor to provide reliable evening and weekend clinical coverage in our outpatient GP setting. Core shift is Weekdays 4:00 PM–11:00 PM with 35 hours weekly, and an additional 10 hours on Saturdays or Sundays, arranged by mutual agreement and compliant with rest breaks.

The role requires MMC registration and GP or outpatient clinic experience.

Qualifications

• Valid MMC registration required.
• Relevant GP or outpatient clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in an outpatient GP setting.
• Provide outpatient paediatric care.
• Provide maternal and antenatal healthcare.
• Perform ultrasound scanning.
• Perform minor surgical procedures, suturing and wound dressing.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and support safe clinic operations.

Salary and schedule

• Basic salary: RM8,000 per month
• Total working hours: 45 hours per week
• Core evening shift: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-11:00 PM (35 hours weekly)
• Remaining 10 hours: additional Saturday or Sunday coverage
• Final weekend roster will be arranged by mutual agreement and subject to applicable rest-break and working-hour requirements
