The Reservations Agent is responsible for accurately recording and processing reservations, maximizing room sales through proactive selling and up-selling techniques.

What will I be doing?
  • Complete Hilton University courses and pass the tests.
  • Familiarize with hotel products and activities.
  • Maximize room sales and revenue, focusing on up-selling.
  • Check daily reservations, cancellations, and changes, ensuring accuracy and proper communication.
  • Verify guest information, requirements, and pricing for arrivals.
  • Perform secretarial duties such as correspondence, filing, and communication.
  • Maintain a sales attitude to capture all sales opportunities.
  • Develop reservations and group/tour teams to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure correct and prompt follow-up on commissions.
  • File rejected business with reasons.
  • Update and maintain guest and sales data.
  • Maintain high guest service standards.
  • Ensure accuracy of all input data.
  • Attend to team members’ needs and workload.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow hotel policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Prioritize reservation quality and adhere to brand standards.
  • Ensure team compliance with hotel rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
