The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Research Assistant position in Dr Mohammad ALFATAH’s lab, part of Healthy Longevity Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The lab is dedicated to understanding the biology of aging and identifying geroprotective interventions to promote healthy longevity. Appointments will be on a 1-year contract in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.
Purpose of the post
The Research Assistant (RA) will work closely with Principal Investigator (PI) to support ongoing research projects focused on chemical (e.g., drugs, natural products, metabolites) and genetic interventions for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease. The role includes evaluating the efficacy of candidate interventions using cellular and disease models.
